Our core service is the transportation of ocean containers within the GTA and throughout Ontario. Our import and export deliveries are handled by skilled and experienced staff who are dedicated to inform our customers of every step of their shipment. Our power units are governed by computer dispatch, GPS tracking and closed circuit communications to ensure an efficient and on-time service.
We also offer added features such as a “Daily Container Status Report”, which is sent out electronically on a daily basis. This provides our customers a quick reference to all the import containers they have assigned to us without having to make calls to follow up on status of containers on a regular basis. We have systems in place to mirror the movements of CN and CP with an automated “Track and Trace” feature which alerts us before any possibility of rail storage. We also secure RV’s and enter rail billing for export containers always having the shippers’ needs in mind making the transition from rail to dock as seamless as possible.
We have an extensive fleet of chassis which can handle temperature controlled (reefer) containers . Our drivers are trained and are equipped with “hands on” knowledge of how to operate and trouble shoot these units including clip-on gen-sets offered by the steamship line.
Our 13 acre terminal is a fully secured facility located in close proximity to all the major rail terminals. It is secured with a fully fenced in area which is accessible only by electronic gate access. We have a number of “analytic” cameras that possess “PTZ” capabilities that provide coverage for every corner of the terminal. The cameras are monitored 24/7 by a live monitoring team that are trained to identify and report any suspicious behaviour before it becomes an issue. All containers which are stored in our terminal for more than 12 hours are dismounted from the chassis providing a safe and ideal cost effective storage solution.
Our professional drivers are hazmat certified by industry regulators in Canada. They are trained in identification, reporting requirements, emergency measures and safe handling practices of containers being hauled with dangerous goods.
We can service your over-dimensional needs. The nature of these shipments are very detailed and unique. We suggest that you contact us directly as they require a little more attention and are handled on a “case per case” basis.
Our trailing equipment fleet ranges in chassis of all needs. They undergo an extensive “preventative maintenance” program every 30 days rather than the 90 day program prescribed by the Ministry of Transportation. Our on-site “Motor Vehicle Inspection Station” ensures our chassis are in good working order and safe for the road. We strive to prevent breakdowns or delays at highway inspection stations by ensuring the integrity of our chassis. Understanding the sensitivity of our customers’ needs, we place a high priority on the maintenance of our equipment.
